Gambit Movie

Gambit is an upcoming comedy thriller movie directed by Michael Hoffman based on a script by the Cohen brothers. The film is actually a remake of the 1966 British movie starring Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine. The story revolves around an art curator who enlists a Texas Rodeo Queen in a scheme to con a rich man. The new Gambit movie is starring Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz. CBS Films will release the film sometime in 2012.

Plot:
"An art curator (Colin Firth) plots an elaborate scheme to con a wealthy collector into buying a fake Monet painting. As part of the ruse, he recruits a Texas steer roper (Cameron Diaz) to play the part of a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII."
